Lake Garda, like all the alpine lakes, is surrounded by a high chain of mountains. The mountain is always present in the holiday of those who choose this lake even when it's only the backdrop for the days spent at the beach.
The paths are dozens, perfectly preserved by the local climbing sections, with progressive difficulty that enables each hiker to find his itinerary. Also there are two peaks over 2000 meters: Monte Stivo and the Altissimo. It comes with a couple of hours of walking and mountain peaks awaits the reception of two beautiful mountain huts. The climbing has found in the Garda land so fertile as to produce what is considered by many as the true world championship of free climbing, the "Rock Master", which takes place every September in Arco. Paths, mule tracks, roads and cycle paths of the Garda were besieged by fans of mountain biking. Here there are dedicated paths, including breathtaking scenery, forests, meadows, beaches and fields.
